Sand Bubbler Crabs Australia

This crab was not happy having his picture taken, within seconds it buried itself - I was happy to be able to get these shots of it.
When we arrived at this beach it was covered in tiny, perfectly round sand balls, and crabs everywhere!

St. Leonards to Port Arlington

Here are some of the pictures between St. Leonards and Port Arlington.

This is the Rental that we will make the Australian roads unsafe with :) :)
Do remember we come from a country where we drive on the right hand side!!!
Mind you, we have a Swiss navigator that reminds us to drive on the left side!

There he is again!

A day at the Beach

We spent a beautiful day at one of Victoria's most popular and beautiful Beaches along the Mornington Penincula. The sun was shining, the sky was beautiful and the water crystal clear. What more could we ask for.... oh yes.... an ice cold BEER... LOL

Rosebud Beach, Victoria

The water was so crystal clear you could even see this Seagull's feet in the water

Surfers Beach, Rye Victoria

YOU are suppose to be paying attention to the clear crystal water here and not my chubby unshaved legs... LOL

North Shore Geelong

Well finally a moment to write to you all and show you some of the things we have been doing.

After picking up our rental car (which is better then anything I have ever driven in ) we decided to start our trips with a place not to far from home.... in Australia of course an hour or more from home is still close to home :). Even though I have been to Geelong often in my childhood, the Northshore is an area I haven't never visited before, so was interesting to see. Never quite realised we had an oil refinery so close. Can't say I was very impressed.... well at least my nose was not impressed with the smells that I was not able to capture with these pictures. :)

Hope you enjoy the pictures :)

All in one day!

I wonder if there is any other country in the world that can offer
so much scenic variety, and weather changes in one day?
We went from cold and clowdy to sunny and hot through out the day.

Today we drove a total of about 250km to Penincula Bay, Victoria.
Our first stop was a walk in the forest where we visited some old
Bunkers and then off to Cape Schanck.
Lots and lots of stairs in the nice hot sun :) I live in hope that I
managed to burn some calories....which of course I was constantly
replacing....lol
On our way home we stopped of at Frankston Beach where we had
dinner in a Restaurant along the beach and after dinner watched
the sunset.
What a way to end the day :)
